Townhouse suites above the treetops.

The rooms are spread across four floors of the townhouse, reached by a narrow cage lift and a worn wooden staircase. There is no corridor carpet, no numbered door plaque — each room has a name. The look is editorial Mayfair: ivory linen, marble fireplaces (most unlit), faded oriental rugs on wooden floorboards, and tall sash windows that open over the trees of Mount Street.

All rooms include breakfast in the Ivory Dining Room, evening turn-down, and access to the spa. Room service runs until 01:00.

The Mount Street Suite

Our corner suite on the first floor: a four-poster bed, an unlit marble fireplace, two tall sash windows over the trees of Mount Street, and a velvet armchair by the window. A separate dressing room and a marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub. Slept in, not staged.

Deluxe Double

A simpler room with a sash window over the rooftops, a brass reading lamp and a worn wooden desk. The Ivory Palace at its most quiet. Marble bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Classic Townhouse

Our standard room: ivory linen, a faded rug on wooden floorboards, a small marble fireplace and a gilt-framed print. Some look over the street, some over the quiet courtyard at the back.
